De citiva ani primesc notificari despre festivalul de fotografie Yangon organizat de/la Institutlul Francez din Burma. Anul acesta imi pare cel mai bun de pina acum, selectia proiectelor cistigatoare este foarte buna, si va sugerez sa le luati pe rind pentru ca nu o sa va para rau. Mai ales photo-stories, cu imagini intrerupte de pagini-text care te poarta prin vietile unor oameni, uneori extraordinari, alteori banali, dar per ansamblu povestile lor prind viata pe ecranul vostru. Huge photo cameras on the bank of the Danube?!
It certainly looks like there are some huge photo cameras resting unused on the Danube bank. The shot is right near the wonderful Anghel Saligny bridge. And I was thinking my medium format camera I was using (Hassy 500C/M) was (is) a large one… On the serious note, I believe there are actually military posts which are being stored in this place.
